She believes in the transformative power of therapeutic programs and feels honored to work with families on their path towards renewed health. Prior to joining the team at One Oak Educational Consulting, Dana worked for four years as a Regional Admissions Counselor for four therapeutic wilderness programs. This was a life changing moment for her, which she hadn’t previously experienced growing up in an urban area. After graduation, she lived in Napa California and worked as a glass designer before moving overseas which provided amazing opportunities including her son being born in Tokyo and her daughter being born in Germany. Dana’s family lived and traveled throughout Japan and Europe for 6 years and then chose Asheville, North Carolina to plant much-needed roots.

During her free time, Dana enjoys spending time with her children and friends, never one to turn down a new experience. Dana also finds running, yoga, spin-classes, music and cooking international meals for her family and friends to be food for her soul.
